Chili Weather Peppers
Chili Weather Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 green peppers, 1/3 c. chopped onion, 1/3 c. chopped celery, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can chili with beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Remove tops and seeds from peppers.
Cook 5 minutes in salted boiling water; drain.
Saute onion and celery in butter.
Stir in chili, rice, salt and garlic powder.
Spoon mixture into peppers.
Place stuffed peppers in an 8-inch square baking dish.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Top with cheese strips.
Heat 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
