Chili Con Carne
Chili Con Carne is an impressive dinner. Made with 5 tbsp. olive oil, 2 large onions, 4 cloves garlic, 1 1/2 lb. ground beef and 3 c. tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Heat oil in skillet.
Add onion and garlic.
Saute until golden.
Add meat and brown.
Transfer the meat mixture to a large saucepan and add remaining ingredients (except beans).
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until sauce is thick as desired (about 4 hours).
Add 2 cans kidney beans before serving. Cook them for 2 hours in the simmering sauce.
