Chili
Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped green pepper, 1 crushed clove garlic, 3 tbsp. flour, 2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes, cut up and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook and stir green pepper, onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat until onions are tender.
Cut beef into 1/2-inch pieces and coat with flour.
Brown in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Stir in tomatoes, beans with liquid, tomato sauce, chili powder, green pepper and salt.
Cover and simmer; stir some until beef is tender, about 2 hours.
Uncover and simmer, stirring some for 30 minutes.
