Chili
Chili is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, 2/3 c. chopped onion, 1/3 c. chopped green pepper, 15 oz. can tomatoes, cut up (with juice) and 15 oz. can tomato purée, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper.
Drain and place in pot.
Add tomatoes, purée and garlic and simmer 10 minutes.
Add chili powder, cumin, oregano and Tabasco.
Simmer 10 minutes and taste.
Add salt and pepper as needed.
Can also sprinkle small amount (about 1/2 teaspoon) of sugar if too acidy. Simmer 20 minutes, then add beans and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve in bowl over rice or plain. Sprinkle with cheese.
