Chili
Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 onion, chopped, 1 tbsp. garlic juice or 2 cloves garlic, minced, 2 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. chili powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Brown meat and onions; drain well.
Add chili powder and cook for a minute.
Then add salt, garlic juice and tomato sauce. Simmer, covered, over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
Add 2 cups water.
Cook in a heavy pan over low heat for at least 2 hours. The longer it cooks the better.
Add beans, undrained, in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Serves 4.
