Chicken Chow Mein
Chicken Chow Mein is an impressive Chinese dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 6 minutes. Made with c. cooking oil, . pepper, c. sliced onion, (4 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced and c. chicken stock, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat in deep skillet oil, salt and pepper.
Add celery, bean sprouts and sugar.
Stir in chicken stock and cook for about 10 minutes.
Blend cornstarch, cold water and soy sauce, add to vegetable mixture and stir until mixture thickens.
Add chicken. Heat through and serve over chow mein noodles.
