Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake
Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. margarine or butter, 1/2 c. crisco, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream shortening, sugar, vanilla and almond extract.
Add eggs, 1 at a time; mix well.
Stir in flour sifted with baking powder.
Spread 3/4 batter on greased cookie sheet.
Spread with pie filling.
Drop rest of the batter by teaspoonful over cherry pie filling.
Dribble frosting while warm.
Bake at 350Β° for about 20 minutes.
