Butterscotch Brownies
Butterscotch Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. unsifted flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Set aside.
Melt over hot (not boiling) water, morsels and margarine.
Remove from heat and transfer to large bowl.
Stir in brown sugar; cool 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then vanilla.
Blend in flour mixture.
Stir in nuts.
Bake in greased jelly roll pan, 15 x 10 x 1-inch, at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Cool and cut into 2-inch squares. Makes approximately 35 squares.
