Braised Pork With Broccoli is an moderately easy dinner. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a deep skillet; brown the pork all over.
Stir in the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sherry, sugar and water.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and cook over low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Heat remaining oil in a saucepan and cook the broccoli over high heat for 4 minutes.
Drain.
Arrange on a serving dish and top with the pork.
