Barbecued Green Beans
Barbecued Green Beans is an easy dinner. Made with 5 cans french-style green beans, 8 to 10 strips bacon, 1 small onion, 1 c. brown sugar and 1 c. ketchup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Fry bacon and set aside; crumble.
Saute onion in bacon grease.
Add brown sugar and ketchup to skillet of onions and simmer for 15 minutes.
Drain beans.
Mix sugar mixture and beans together, then pour into a casserole dish.
Put crumbled bacon on top.
Bake at 300° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
