Barbecue Beef
Barbecue Beef is an easy dinner. Made with 1 large (15 lb.) beef roast, 2 bottles open pit hickory barbecue sauce, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 lb. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook roast; cool 24 hours.
Slice paper thin or as thin as possible.
Mix barbecue sauce, onion and brown sugar.
Warm until sugar melts.
In crock-pot or roaster, alternate layers of meat and sauce.
(If not enough sauce, add small amount of tomato juice.)
Press into pot until meat is covered.
Bake or cook slow 275Β° for 3 to 4 hours.
Serve on buns.
Pork can be substituted for beef.
