100% Bran Low-Fat Muffins
100% Bran Low-Fat Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 2 c. 100% bran cereal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon in large bowl.
Mix cereal, milk and sugar in another bowl.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Stir in egg and applesauce; add to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened.
May be lumpy.
Spoon batter into muffin tins (2/3 full) which have been sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes until brown.
Makes 12.
