Yum Yum Salad
Yum Yum Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (no. 2) can crushed pineapple, 2/3 c. sugar, 1 (3 oz.) lemon jell-o, 1 (8 oz.) philadelphia cream cheese and 1 c. diced fine celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine pineapple and sugar.
Cook for 3 minutes.
Add Jell-O and cream cheese; stir until well mixed.
Cook until mixture begins to congeal.
Add celery, apple and nuts.
Prepare Dream Whip. Leave out the vanilla.
Fold into Jell-O mixture.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Chill 6 hours or overnight.
Serves 12.
