Whole Wheat Muffins
Whole Wheat Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. whole wheat flour, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. milk and 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Grease twelve 2 1/2 x 1 1/4-inch muffin cups.
In a large bowl, with fork, mix all the dry ingredients.
In a small bowl, with fork, beat egg slightly, stir in milk and oil. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture, just until flour mixture is moistened.
(Batter will be lumpy, not smooth).
Spoon batter into muffin cups.
Bake 20-25 minutes until golden and toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Immediately remove muffins from pan. Makes 12 muffins.
