Vinnie's Shredded Barbecue Beef
Vinnie'S Shredded Barbecue Beef is an easy dinner. Made with 3 to 5 lb. chuck roast, 2 bottles barbecue sauce (possibly more), 1 c. red wine vinegar, 1/3 c. mustard and 2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cut roast in half or put in crock-pot whole.
Mix ingredients. Pour over meat.
Cook 8 to 10 hours, breaking meat apart after 5 hours and every hour thereafter.
Shred meat with a potato masher and then cook 1/2 hour more.
Serve on buns or rolls.
Times may vary upon meat breaking up.
