Vermicelli Soup
Vermicelli Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. vermicelli, 2 tbsp. bacon fat or cooking oil, 1 clove garlic, 1/2 small white onion, finely minced and 1/2 c. tomato purée, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Break up vermicelli into small pieces and saute in the fat or oil until a golden brown color.
Then add garlic, onion and tomato purée and cook for five minutes.
Add stock and seasonings and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or until vermicelli is tender.
Serves 8.
