Ultra Low-Fat Lasagna
Ultra Low-Fat Lasagna is an easy dinner. Made with 9 lasagna noodles, 1 lb. 97% fat-free ground turkey, 1 (26 oz.) jar healthy choice pasta sauce, 8 oz. bag fat-free mozzarella cheese and 16 oz. fat-free cottage cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook lasagna noodles per directions on box.
Brown turkey meat in skillet; after it's cooked, pour meat into colander and run hot water over it.
This will rinse off extra fat from the meat. Return turkey to skillet.
Add pasta sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
In a 2-quart casserole layer half of noodles, cottage cheese, shredded Mozzarella and meat sauce.
Repeat layers.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
