Swizzle Steak
Swizzle Steak is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in just 50 minutes. Made with to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, sliced into strips, approximately 3 x 1/2-inch each, c. chopped onion, c. soy sauce, . sugar and c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown meat in frying pan. Add onion. Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes*, adding additional water, if necessary.
Before serving, add 1 tablespoon cornstarch to a small amount of water and mix into meat to thicken sauce.
Serve over hot rice.
