Swiss Steak
Swiss Steak is an easy dinner. Made with about 2 lb. round steak, tenderized, 1 green pepper, coarsely chopped, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can campbell's tomato soup and 1/2 soup can water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut steak into 4 to 6 pieces.
Dip steak in water and roll in Bisquick.
Brown in Crisco in a large skillet.
Salt and pepper steak while browning.
Chop green pepper and onion together in a small bowl.
Put browned steak and drippings in a large pan.
Put green pepper, onion, soup and water over meat.
Cover with foil. Cook in 375Β° oven about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until fork-tender.
