Sweetheart Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter, creamed, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg yolk, beaten and 1 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix ingredients.
Form into balls (about the circumference of a quarter).
Press down with an English walnut half or half a maraschino cherry.
Bake at 325Β° about 20 minutes.

Makes 2 to 3 dozen cookies.
