Made with 6 to 9 cubed beefsteaks, 1 can mushrooms with liquid, 1 medium oinon, sliced thin, 1 envelope dry onion soup mix and 1 can beef gravy or lean mushroom gravy, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Dredge steak in flour and pepper.
Brown lightly on both sides in oil.
Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle dry soup mix over top.
Cover with mushrooms and liquid.
Add a layer of sliced onions.
Pour can of gravy that has been mixed with water over the top.
Do not stir.
