Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 c. butter/margarine, 2 eggs, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix flour and butter together as for pie crust.
Beat eggs and add sugar.
Beat until thick.
Add soda, baking powder and vanilla to egg mixture.
Combine by adding flour-butter mixture to beaten egg combination.
Mix well.
Roll into small balls and place on cookie sheet and press down with glass.
Or these make wonderful cut out cookies.
Chill batter.
Roll about 1/4-inch thick.
Bake at 350Β° for 7 to 8 minutes.
