Strawberry Cheesecake
Strawberry Cheesecake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks margarine, 2 c. flour, 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and 3 c. confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Melt margarine.
Mix with flour and pecans.
Press into deep 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 250Β° for 35 to 40 minutes; cool.
Beat cream cheese with confectioners sugar.
Fold in whipped topping.
Spread over crust.
Bring sugar, cornstarch and water to a boil in saucepan.
Cool slightly (takes awhile).
Stir in jello and strawberries.
Spoon over cream cheese layer.
Chill until set. May add additional whipped topping, if desired.
