Squash Puppies

Trim ends off squash.
Slice and cover with water; cook until tender.
Drain squash, mash and drain again.
Combine squash and remaining ingredients.
Drop mixture by scant tablespoon into hot oil, fry 5 minutes.
Drain and serve hot.
