Snickerdoodles(Cookies)
Snickerdoodles(Cookies) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Sift and measure flour; blend all dry ingredients together, then stir in shortening mixture.
Make 1-inch little balls of dough. Roll balls in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen.
