Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 2/3 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Blend shortening, sugar and eggs.
Combine flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt in a sifter and sift into shortening mixture.
Mix well.
Shape into small balls, then roll in cinnamon and sugar.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yields 5 dozen.
