Seafood Gumbo
Seafood Gumbo is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 c. vegetable oil, 1 large onion, 1 pod garlic and 1/2 bell pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Make a roux by browning 1/2 cup flour in 1/2 cup of well heated vegetable oil.
Lower heat and add water gradually.
Add onion, garlic, pepper and parsley then cook 30 minutes.
Add crabmeat.
This can be freshly cleaned crab or fresh or frozen. It is better to have claws and a few chunks of body meat in the gumbo.
