Seafood Gumbo is an impressive dinner. Made with 2/3 c. oil, 1 c. flour, 3 large onions, 3 ribs celery and 5 to 6 cloves garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Make roux by browning oil and flour until it reaches the color of a paper bag.
Add water and chopped onions, garlic, bell pepper and spices, including bay leaves.
