Preheat oven to 425Β°.

Grease a large cookie sheet.

In a medium bowl with a fork mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. With a pastry blender cut in the margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a cup, beat eggs with a fork.

Reserve 1 tablespoon.

Put milk into remaining eggs and add this mixture to the flour mixture.

Blend until well mixed.

Turn dough onto a lightly floured board and roll with a floured rolling pin until dough is 1/2 inch thick.

With a knife, cut dough into 3-inch squares then cut each square into 2 triangles.

Place triangles 1 inch apart onto cookie sheet.

Brush with reserved egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Bake 10 to 15 minutes until golden.

Makes 10 to 12 scones.
