Sauerkraut Salad
This Sauerkraut Salad combines drained kraut with celery, green pepper, onion, pimento, salt, sugar, vinegar, and salad oil. The boiled dressing is cooled before mixing, then the salad rests overnight for a crisp sweet-tart finish.

Place sugar, vinegar and oil in pan; let come to a boil.
Turn heat on low and cook for 10 minutes.
Cool and pour over other ingredients that have been mixed in large bowl.
Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
This will last for several days.
