Russian Cream Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1 envelope knox gelatin, 1/2 c. water, 1 c. sour cream and 1 1/2 tsp. clear vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In saucepan, stir in first 3 ingredients until dissolved. Remove from heat.
Blend in sour cream and vanilla.
Chill until slightly thickened.
Blend in Cool Whip.
