Rolls
Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. sugar, 2 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. shortening, 1 c. boiling water and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put sugar, salt and shortening in bowl.
Add 1 cup boiling water.
Soak yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Add well beaten egg to yeast mixture.
When other bowl is cool, add yeast and egg.
Then add 3 1/2 cups flour.
Mix, then put in refrigerator.
Let rise. Let stand out about 10 minutes.
Make into buns and let rise about 1 1/2 hours.
Bake at 350° to 375° for about 15 minutes.
Brush with butter.
