Rice Jambalaya
Rice Jambalaya is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. oil, 1 lb. ground beef, 2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 small green pepper, cut into strips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat oil in large skillet on medium high heat.
Add ground beef; cook and stir until lightly browned.
Add chicken, onion, pepper, celery, garlic and basil leaves.
Cook and stir until chicken is cooked through.
Stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce; bring to boil.
Stir in rice.
Cover; remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed.
Stir well, then serve.
