Quick Homemade Chili
Quick Homemade Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. pure vegetable oil, 1/2 clove garlic, minced, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can small red beans or kidney beans, undrained and 1/2 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook and stir garlic and meat in hot oil in large skillet until meat loses its red color.
Add beans with their liquid, onion and green pepper.
Pour in tomato sauce.
Add salt and chili powder and stir.
Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until chili is desired thickness, about 45 minutes.
