Pressure Cooker Stew
Pressure Cooker Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. lean stew meat, trimmed and cubed, 4 or 5 new potatoes, cubed, 3 or 4 carrots, sliced crossways (thin), 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans and liquid and 1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes and liquid, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown meat, seasonings and onion in about 1 or 2 tablespoons Crisco.
Add 1/2 cup water.
Add in this order (do not stir): potatoes, carrots, green beans with liquid and tomatoes with the liquid.
Cook at 15 pounds pressure for 18 minutes.
Run water over cooker to lower pressure.
Stir and serve at once.
