Pork Roast Sauerkraut
Pork Roast Sauerkraut is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 4 lbs. pork roast, 2 cans of sauerkraut, 3/4 box of brown sugar, water as needed and 1 apple, peeled, cored and diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Place the roast in the center of roasting pan.
Place sauerkraut around the roast.
Sprinkle brown sugar on top of sauerkraut.
Pour water into pan until you can just begin to see the water in the sauerkraut. Sprinkle apple and onion on top of brown sugar.
Roast at 325° to 350° F. for 3 to 4 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes.
