Pork Chops Risotto
Pork Chops Risotto is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 pork chops, salt and pepper, 2 tbsp. wesson oil, 3/4 c. rice and 1/4 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper.
Brown in a 12-inch skillet in oil; remove and reserve.
Saute rice, onion and green pepper in drippings until rice is golden.
Stir in Hunt's sauce, water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt; bring to a boil.
Arrange chops in rice mixture.
Sprinkle with Italian herb seasoning.
Cover. Simmer 35 to 40 minutes, until tender, adding cheese during the last 5 minutes.
