Planters Holiday Nuts 'n' Spice Cookies
Planters Holiday Nuts 'N' Spice Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. planters pecan halves or walnuts, 4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/3 c. water and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Finely chop 1 1/2 cups nuts.
Combine flour, chopped nuts and baking powder; set aside.
In saucepan, heat sugar, molasses, water, allspice and cinnamon to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Stir in margarine until melted.
Blend in flour mixture.
Chill 1 hour. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into 1/8-inch thickness.
With floured cookie cutters, cut out dough.
Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from baking sheets; cool.
Frost with sugar glaze and decorate with remaining nuts, sprinkles and candies.
Makes about 6 dozen.
