Pierogi Casserole
Pierogi Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. lasagna noodles, 1 lb. velveeta cheese, 1 1/2 sticks margarine, 2 tbsp. dry onion or 1 small onion, chopped and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Make mashed potatoes with potatoes and part of milk.
Save remaining milk for cheese sauce.
Cook noodles 10 minutes; rinse with warm water and set aside.
Cook margarine, milk, onion and cheese until melted.
In 9 x 13-inch greased pan, add 1/2 of noodles.
Spread in pan.
Add not quite 1/2 of cheese sauce. Spread evenly.
Add mashed potatoes on top of noodles and cheese. Add remaining noodles and cheese sauce.
Bake at 350Β° until golden brown or 30 minutes.
