Perfect Trio Salad
Perfect Trio Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (13 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jell-o, 2 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tbsp. vinegar and 1/2 c. shredded carrots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Drain syrup from pineapple and add water to make 1/2 cup.
Heat to boiling.
Add Jell-O, stirring until dissolved.
Add lemon juice, vinegar and salt.
Chill until slightly thickened.
Stir in drained pineapple, carrots and green pepper.
Pour into mold; chill until firm.
Unmold onto lettuce leaves.
Makes 6 servings.
