Peasant Pizza
Peasant Pizza is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 loaves frozen bread dough, 3/4 c. colavita olive oil, basil, oregano and parsley to taste (about 1 tsp. each), 1 tsp. garlic, minced and 2 large tomatoes, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Thaw dough and cut each loaf in half to make 4 pieces.
Let rise about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until double.
Mix spices in oil. Brush on dough.
Bake at 350Β° about 10 minutes.
Remove, slightly flatten with a fork.
Brush with extra oil and spices.
Place sliced tomatoes and cheese on each pizza.
Return to oven about 10 to 12 minutes.
