Orange Butter Cookies
Orange Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. sweet butter, 4 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 3 egg yolks and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add yolks.
Add combined baking powder and flour, also juice and rind of orange.
Roll out dough and cut with fancy round 2-inch cookie cutter.
Half of these are to be baked as cut; the other half should have a hole cut in the center with a thimble before baking.
These are the tops.
When cooled, put together with currant jelly.
For baking, use oven at 350Β° and bake for 15 minutes.
