No Bake Hi-Protein Quickie Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. quick rolled oats, 2 c. baker's macaroon coconut, 1/2 c. wheat germ, 1 c. nuts and 1 c. chopped dates, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix dates with 1/2 cup flour.
In cup, dissolve gelatin in water and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine oats, coconut, wheat germ, nuts and dates.
In saucepan mix sugar and cocoa.
Add milk and heat until sugar is dissolved.
Add oleo and bring to a boil (just until butter melts).
Add vanilla and maple flavoring.
Add softened gelatin.
Stir and cook about 1 minute.
