Molded Asparagus Salad
Molded Asparagus Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 can cut asparagus, drained, 1/2 c. cold water, 2 pkg. knox gelatin, 1/2 tsp. salt and 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Drain asparagus; set aside.
Combine salt, sugar, vinegar, lemon juice and 1 cup water; bring to boil.
Sprinkle gelatin over 1/2 cup water in large bowl.
Pour hot liquid over gelatin and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Chill until slightly thickened.
Combine onion, celery, water chestnuts, pimento and asparagus last.
Fold into gelatin mixture with few drops green food coloring.
Pour into greased 5-cup mold.
Chill until firm
