Mississippi Mud Pie
Mississippi Mud Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (about 15), 1 1/2 tsp sugar (optional), 1/4 c butter or margarine, melted, 2 pints chocolate chip ice cream, softened and 1/4 c chocolate syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix the cookie crumbs with the sugar in a bowl.
Stir in the butter.
Press onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
Spoon half the ice cream into the crust.
Drizzle with half the chocolate syrup; swirl with a knife.
Spoon the remaining ice cream carefully over the top.
Drizzle with remaining syrup.
