Mamaw's Shrimp Cocktail
Mamaw'S Shrimp Cocktail is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans (or other source) deveined shrimp (she insisted on deveined), 2 bottles catsup, 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce (she used only lea & perrins), 2 lemons, juiced and 1 bell pepper, cut very fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix all ingredients together and chill thoroughly before serving.
If the shrimp are medium or larger, they should be cut up some.
Note that this is already mixed when served, and not used with the shrimp dipped into the sauce.
I once found some of this in the fridge and got sick gorging on it before I got caught.
This is my mother's recipe.
