Lunchbox Cookies
Lunchbox Cookies is an moderately easy family-friendly dish. Made with 1/2 c. (stick) margarine or butter, 1/2 c. vegetable shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
In large bowl, combine margarine and shortening.
Add sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Beat until fluffy. Stir in flour and baking soda; stir in cereal and nuts.
Mix well and drop by level tablespoonful on ungreased cookie sheet 2-inches apart.
Bake 9 to 11 minutes until golden.
Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.
