Louisiana Bean-Burger Casserole
Louisiana Bean-Burger Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. hamburger meat, 1 (2 lb.) can pork and beans, 1 lb. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1 c. catsup and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook the hamburger meat in a skillet or in the oven until it is done.
Drain the grease; then scramble the meat into small pieces. Put the meat into a large mixing bowl.
Add cheese, beans, catsup and water.
Mix thoroughly and pour into a large baking dish.
Bake for one hour at 350Β°.
At the end of this time, remove the casserole from the oven and stir the mixture to make sure all the cheese is melted.
(Since ovens vary, you may need to bake the dish another 15 minutes.)
When the cheese is melted throughout, place crisscross strips of cheese on top for decoration.
Bake 5 minutes.
