Lemon Ice Cream
Lemon Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 2 level tbsp. flour, 1/2 gal. whole milk, 5 eggs and 2 tbsp. lemon flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine sugar and flour; mix with 1/2 gallon whole milk and beaten eggs.
Cook until it forms a custard.
Be sure to cook on low heat and stir to keep from scorching.
If it lumps at all, strain through strainer after you have added Carnation and flavoring.
Let cool and then freeze.
