Land and Sea Stew
Land And Sea Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. italian sausage, 1 32 oz. can plum tomatoes, 4 cans clam juice, 1 can baby clams or 12 fresh (chopped) clams and juice and 1 large onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Remove sausage from casing.
Crumble and saute.
Remove fat on paper towel.
In 2 tablespoons of olive oil, saute onion and garlic.
Chop tomatoes coarsely.
Place all ingredients in a saucepan, add sweet basil, fennel seed to taste and 1/2 cup of cooking wine.
Simmer 45 minutes.
Add clam juice, heat to a boil. Cook rotelli according to directions.
Add pasta and clams to mixture.
Stir and serve.
